A Few Days in Mammoth
Posted: Jun 11, 2010Mammoth Mountain is notorious for it's consistent seasons, sunshine, and late spring park shoots. AJ and Napier, along with myself, traveled out to Mammoth to film with Keefer, Wyble, Timzilla, Tim McChesney, John Ware, Holson, and Andy Partridge among others for some of the last shots of the season.
The park was full of Snowboarders filming a classic Mammoth Superpark, along with a Rome photoshoot. Level 1 and others were also present, bringing along more friends, including Tom, Henrik and Casabon. A park full of friends made for lots of energy and good times.
Day one was sunny, as everyone got warmed up to the slushy features and warm weather, as well as being back on skis again. Day two followed with clouds which made it hard to log bangers. Everyone made due, and by the end of the day the sun had come back out. The rest of the trip was full of sunny skies and the quickest park laps anywhere through Main Park.
